MYRO Deployed at Sky City Borivali for Oberoi Construction
At Sky City Borivali in Mumbai, MYRO painted 115 sqm across walls in two days. Oberoi Construction’s team observed its efficiency, with smooth finishes, minimal paint usage, and reliable performance-highlighting MYRO’s readiness for high-rise residential projects.
MYRO was deployed at the 12th floor of the Sky City Borivali project by Oberoi Construction for a two-day on-site demonstration. The goal was to evaluate MYRO’s capabilities in painting both walls and ceilings within a residential tower setting while engaging directly with the client’s construction team.
Over the course of the visit, MYRO painted a wall area of 55 sqm in two days. The robot applied two coats of Jotun My Home Smooth Silk Paint on the wall. The application process included setup, testing for undulation resistance, surface preparation, masking, and real-time demos for Oberoi personnel.
The deployment began with ceiling painting using a manual airless spray gun, followed by MYRO’s wall demo-executing a clean first coat across a 20m x 2.75m area. On the second day, MYRO performed touch-ups and completed the second coat for the wall, showcasing smooth coverage and consistent application.
Paint consumption metrics reflected significant efficiency: from a new 28L can, only 13L remained after the wall demo-demonstrating MYRO’s economical use of material.
The Oberoi team observed the robot’s operation and quality firsthand, affirming the finish as clean and precise. The use of LP521 spray tips at 1800 psi ensured optimal distribution, and on-site mobility tests confirmed the robot’s stability on various flooring conditions.
This successful engagement reinforced MYRO’s adaptability to high-rise residential projects and its potential to improve speed, consistency, and material savings in real-world conditions.
