MYRO Automates Interior Painting at Provident Park Square

At Provident Park Square in Bangalore, MYRO was deployed to demonstrate its capabilities in large-scale interior painting for residential developments. The project focused on reducing manual labor, optimising material usage, and delivering consistent, high-quality finishes across a total paintable area of 2,276 sq. ft.

In just 20 minutes, MYRO was fully set up and operational. Floor plan mapping was completed within 45 minutes, significantly minimising project downtime. These rapid onboarding times reinforced MYRO’s value in fast-paced construction environments, where efficiency and readiness are key.

Once deployed, MYRO autonomously painted 1,518 sq. ft. (66.69%) of the total area, while the remaining 758 sq. ft. (33.31%) was completed by manual operators. The robot consistently outperformed human labor in speed, achieving coverage rates of 1,138 sq. ft./hr for primer and 1,301 sq. ft./hr for paint.

Material usage was also notably efficient. MYRO delivered optimized consumption rates of 114 sq. ft./L for primer and 148 sq. ft./L for paint, reducing overall waste while ensuring full and even coverage throughout the site.

The project’s success was further supported by real-time tracking and precision navigation, visualized through MYRO’s pathing software. This enabled thorough and traceable painting coverage, ensuring that no zones were missed and finish consistency was maintained throughout.

By automating a majority of the painting workload while outperforming manual efforts in both speed and efficiency, MYRO demonstrated its effectiveness in real-world, multi-unit developments, such as Provident Park Square. The deployment highlighted how robotics can scale within commercial residential workflows, improving both productivity and quality without requiring a complete process overhaul.
